Shimmie is an assistant solicitor and joined the firm in September 2004 following completion of his training with City firm D J Freeman (now Kendall Freeman) where he qualified in September 2003.

He undertakes both contentious and non-contentious matters and specialises in commercial conveyancing as well as residential and commercial Landlord & Tenant law and practice.

Shimmie has particular experience of leasehold enfranchisement and lease extensions pursuant to the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993.
